How to cover a logo on a jacket

Oct 09, 2014 · I just thrifted an old Barbour Eskdale quilted jacket in like-new condition. The only downside is that there is an embroidered Paine Webber logo on the left breast.The logo is fairly small and in a dark olive color, and I don't have anything in particular against defunct brokerage firms, it's just that I'd rather it wasn't there.

Want to do something creative in a subtle way that'll look nice, not whacky. Looking for creative ideas how to turn the B into something else without resorting to words which I don't want. Find a fabric you like that coordinates with the bag and cut the fabric in a rectangle big enough to easily cover the logo. Fold over and iron the edges for a clean look and sew it on. If you like frayed edges, cut the rectangle the right size, through it in the dryer, and then sew it on, exposing the frayed edges.

If it is a embroidered patch that is just stitched on around the edge, it will likely look better underneath, but still not good. Yes, you can use all sorts of techniques to remove / cover up obnoxious labels. Or just vote with your wallet and don't buy them — well, most of the time anyway. No TNF stuff in my gear closet.
